What will doctors of traditional Chinese medicine and their patients do if they wipe out all the tigers, lions, rhinos, bears, etc., as they seem determined to, despite the efforts of more modern and environmentally aware practitioners?

Tried to sign BOTH petitions - but despite obeying instructions as to putting in area code 33625 (Fl) it rejected my address. What did it want me to do - put in the address of Big Cat Rescue since I am in the UK? Any ideas?

Seems that they accept only signatures from US, unfortunately this is not the first time that I get this problem with the Big Cat Rescue, I'm so sorry that I'm not able to help in this important issue. Thanks Cher.

cant seem to sign petition Us only which is a bit silly as everyone cares about big cats What a despicable picture
I do not understand why more is not being done with regards to all the endangered cats etc If CITES has 176 member countries what are they all doing Seems to me there is much more talk than action from these people
What are they actually doing not enough

noted thanks

Thanks! Unable to sign... noted and e-mailed
There are more endangered big cats in Asian countries, but one of the most critically endangered ones is Sumatran tiger, and it is just heart braking to see pictures with dead tigers. Why is it so hard for the governments, in which areas these tigers live, declare the tiger a national treasure, as Japan has done for two dog breeds, Akita ans Shiba. Thee tigers would be better protected, their habitats kept untouched, restricted traffic to and fro... We need the tigers, but they need so much more from us: protection and sanctuaries, if this killing spree does not come to an end. Tigers are not for fashion and traditional medicine use, they are to live their lives in their native habitats and live happy and prosperous tiger lives.

So sad and sick. Too bad they can't feed poachers' body parts to the Chinese for their medicine--but maybe I shouldn't even give them the idea. Thank you to the authorities for taking action. Action is something the Chinese government should take. Bought a new blender today and made sure it wasn't manufactured in China. That's my action.
