happy that the lion cub was removed; wild animals need to remain in the wild

Yah, yah, yah, whatever, Mr. Shopkeeper, keep in mind you are going to be watched. The baby is safely off the market in safe hands.

Where will the cub go? It's obviously separated from its mother and will not be able to fend for itself in the wild. Set the cub free!? Really!? So it can die a miserable life in the wild where it can't fend for itself!? It was likely defanged and declawed! Come on people!!!

What a shame that this is happening to to cubs like this Only place it can go now is to a sanctuary They have to ban them being bought and sold and leave them in the wild

noted thanks

What is wrong with people? You can buy objects, not living souls! My heart is bleeding at the thought of heartless criminals who should rot in jail

I'm glad that the cub wasn't sold to some idiot who would keep it until it was too big to handle (which doesn't take all that long), then leave it in a cage to die a miserable death. I really wish the cub had been left with its mother in the wild, where they belong! Maybe people will learn some day.

Lucky for that poor cub. Hopefully he is returned to the wild.

This cub can't be ''returned to the wild'' because it has no family (lions are the only social cats) and no hunting skills.

It can be the star of a breeding program but it would die in the wild.

"The store owner who shop tagline is ‘selling all sorts of pets in the UAE"

Does this asshole think everyone is a moron? He knew where this animal came from and was trying to sell it. Where is it's mother? Will the poor thing end up in a shit hole zoo in the UAE? Throw him and his "friend" who supposedly got the cub in jail and send the cub to a sanctuary where it will have a chance at a decent life.

I hate this aspect of the internet:Twitter is the idiots version of Facebook, which, if I didn't have to post comments on. I would not have an account.

So glad they took possession of this baby. He belongs in the wild not in a wild mans house! Hope they lose their business over this. They have no right to sell endangered wildlife. they have no right to have wildlife let alone sell it!

Is the pet shop owner getting prosecuted? If they don't start prosecuting these people they will continue to do this. This is so sad that the poor lion cub's life was taken from him and will forever live in capitivity. Someone needs to pay for that.

People are nuts- what are they planning on doing with the cub once it is an 800 lb lion?

To many lions are getting bred and it's frickin legal damn it! A lot of them get sold to Africa just to be hunted down by trophy hunters. This is not going to stop until lions are close to extinction. With some hope, we can
