This would be stupid. Animal testing is necessary. It won't be for at least another century before there is a model that can predict all the variables to ensure safe usages as individual bio chemistry is too different. In many cases drugs that seemed safe have proven to be unsafe or unsafe for some. We do not have enough information on too many ailments. research cannot be halted for the emotional softness that this proposeal advocates.

done. Inhumane and useless. Just causes pain an d death for those poor cats. Scott-in this day and age-animal testing is not necessary and since their physiology is not like ours-this testing is moot and serves no purpose.

Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, (a private research facility), has announced it will stop using live cats to teach medial students how to perform tracheal intubation on infants. The procedure teaches how to place a tube down the windpipe- and has caused unnecessary suffering to animals since there are anatomically correct, state-of-the-art infant simulators.

This isn't modern standards for animals in science, where it's a last resort when we can't do anything else - it's a backwards minority thinking that the 98% using infant simulators are the idiots. Noted and signed.

It has been proven since ancient age gone by that are as good as any animal tests to humans. Often the opposite is the case. In animals, "happy you" in humans, it is deadly! Researchers want to live out their sadism, are unrealistic and stupid! The researchers are much more effective to do without animal testing, but "cold made" from the tormentors.
Is also still a lot of money in the game, so there is the greed to do so. All this unnecessary suffering to animals ....

signed. There is no reason to test on animals. Who would send their children to a school that is so outdated and not using manicaans for study. How many cats are they planning on getting in an ER? If they don't get any cats in the ER, why are they wasting the students time working on them?
