To compensate for Ben's green thumbs, I offer my brown ones. I can kill any house plant. Outside they grow, inside they die. *sigh*

I don't know if people know to put rocks on the bottom of their planeters before they add the soil. This goes for outdoor potted plants as well.
As a side tip, speaking of rocks, if your cat has a habit of digging in your plants, cover the dirt with rocks. Your watering will seep through the rocks.

I must have green thumbs. I have a gazillion house plants from good ole pothos to exotic orchids and bromeliads. I've learned lot about them and I'm careful to provide the best environment, but I'll be the first one to admit that they get neglected an awful lot. I guess they've learned to deal with it!

Green thumbs and other phalangees too, lol. I just spotted a new bud growth on a dracena plant I've had for 10 years...this is the 3rd. The plant is almost 8 feet tall :)
