All great ideas!

I like using pedal power to get to work whenever I can. It's about 45 minutes/13 km each way, so it keeps me in shape, saves me a lot of money on gas, and reduces air pollution. I also try to do most of my errands, i.e. grocery shopping, the same way.

Be careful though - I got a ticket a couple of days ago for going through a yellow light. You would think the police had better things to do than hassle cyclists with such a borderline offence! :(

I walk to work every morning. I take public transportation at night although I am known to walk home occasionally. Plant more trees.

I use public transport and walking. Most people don't need to use their car if it's only for the journey there and back, but they choose it either for comfort or because they're too lazy to walk.
