The World Bank paints an incredibly bleak picture of the effects of global warming on the most vulnerable regions of the planet.

A very gloomy future. We still have some time to prepare, though we have used up our time to stop things.

Thank you for urging President Obama to take bold action to fight climate change.

Knowing what the future holds, the World Bank is not going to act on this information? It's the the UN, that loves to report disasters, but never takes action.

I will be surprised if it even takes that long and i agree with Alan the UN are all talk and no action and actions speak louder than words

And some people wonder why I'm so pessimistic... 35 years ago I was an optimistic idealist though!

To ponura wizja, a przecież świat nie musi głodować, jest w stanie wyprodukować wystarczającą ilość żywności. Szkoda, że część ludzkości marnuje tyle jedzenia, podczas gdy inni głodują.

Signed and noted thank you. We either start acting on all fossil fuels impact in extraction and end usage with regards to climate change and the consequences for the cesspit which will be bequeathed to ALL our children, or keep listening and 'believing' the lip service of those under the influence of certain interests.
All our children means their children as well......
Shame and disgrace on those in power who by their inaction and unhurried attitude show their lack of care and concern towards all generations, all creatures, all of our shared environment and thereby All Human Rights.

Noted, tweeted, shared, tweeted, shared. We will have fewer people and countries. The people who do survive will not live as we live today. Time to believe in Climate change and the consequences of Global Warming. Are we willing to pay such a high price so that 2% of the population can live a super rich life?

And there is yet some stupids around that say that the global warming doesn't exist!!!!
