done&thanks. you cant kill or drive off all the apex predators w/out a surge of more dangerous pack hunters. I've seen this w/my own eyes. doesn't matter where you live nature abhors a vacuum. coyotes&coydogs have filled in where bears badgers&fishers were driven off&anyone who says Maine doesn't have big cats is a fool. drive off the big carnivores&the pack hunters move in to eat the surge of smaller animals given the opportunity to thrive. I see people on the other coast setting themselves up for an awful lot of hurt&heartache by refusing to plan for the animals. they don't go away they just learn to live in the towns.

I hope that all who bragged above about signing the one above, also stuck with the forwards to sign also the other animal and ecosystem click petitions.
Meanwhile at the other end of California, mountain lions have also been shot (although not in recent months) for the crime of living as they have always lived. The evidence is gone, but I have even met a poacher/hunter who killed and skinned one as trophy.
Although many of us, and many worthy organisations, make inadvertent or purposeful coalition with sportykilly folk to try to achieve the health of other animals, I am beginning to feel like a slut.

'Please sign this wonderful petition! There is a better way to treat wild animals that come near people or into a suburban or urban area. There are wildlife biologists that were on the video that tranquilize wild tigers — so that possibly the similar way to treat wild mountain lions in the USA. The tiger(s) fell asleap with the tranquilizers that were known to do no harm to the tiger.
If police and wildlife workers were armed with the right kind of tranquilizers and mechanisms to get the tranquilizer shot into the animal — peacefully — the once asleep — the animal would be removed to another wilderness area — away from where people live.'
