ABSOLUTELY NS&Pledged!! (It's kind of funny, though. I have a close little circle of LGBT friends ~ you should hear some of the stuff THEY say!! I guess it's okay if you're talking about yourself!)

I try not to be offensive. Having said that, words only have the power YOU give them. This current trend of banning this word and that one as being 'offensive' is nothing more than thought control. I reserve the right to use any word at any time, whenever I feel like it. I am NOT in control of he way you feel about what you hear. YOU ARE!!! You can choose not to be offended!!! Really!!! Since when have we become so entitled that we endowed ourselves with the right to NEVER be offended??? "Nuke a Gay Baby Whale for Jesus"

I did not need to sign the pledge, because anyone who knows me realizes that I am all for LGBT rights and respectful treatment. I have a gay nephew. Volunteer for Life Long Aids Alliance here in Seattle. Oh, but I did sign the pledge.

I also want to point out that the petition includes the word "dyke" as an offensive word for lesbian, but although dyke used to be considered offensive, it no longer is.
