A hiker was just finishing his excursion, and was heading back to his jeep when he heard something making "mew" sounds up ahead. He was concerned and ran forward only to discover this little tiny rat curled up into a ball. Confused, he tapped it lightly

I never knew there was a story behind that picture ~ I have it on my billboard. A real Happy Ending story and I agree with Natasha ~ I hope her first litter was her last.

This starts as a wonderful story of compassion, With a nice person saving the life of a small helpless creature. Unfortunately it ends on a very sad note with some stupid, inconsiderate moron letting the cat get pregnant and adding to the VAST NUMBERS of cats filling rescue groups shelters, rather than having the animal spayed, so it could lead a happy life without the risk of producing ever more little kittens to be dumped on the overcrowded shelters or left to DIE in disgusting conditions on the streets.

I am glad to hear this beauty was saved, but now she needs to be spayed. She knows only too well that there are too many neglected cats now.

It's a nice story except for the part about having kittens. There are already too many unwanted cats in this world so no one should be allowing their cat to have kittens. It's irresponsible.

Wow, what a lucky little kitty to find a kind, caring person against all odds. She looks wonderful now, but I agree with others, she must be spayed immediately. Each preventable birth potentially puts another kitten in similar homeless, dangerous circumstances. We must be responsible and do the right thing when we have the power to prevent possible tragedy.
