I adopted a siamese cat in 1995. I named him Luna and he became my constant buddy. He would follow me everywhere. If I was watching tv he was on the couch with me, if I was taking a shower he was sitting on the toilet waiting for me to get out.

What a beautiful story. I had lost Sparkee when she was 18, she was a shaded black longhair beautiful cat and followed me everywhere. When I was siick, she was right there cuddled to me, she even got a plate of food on the floor at suppertime right by the leg of the table near me and ate with me. She had kidney failure and we managed to keep her going for another 2 years with meds, etc. Finally, she wasn't active any more and then would just go to her food dish and cry, not eat, and to her water dish and did the same thing. I knew it was time, and it was breaking my heart. As we took her to the vet, I dreaded the thought of killing her. By the time we got there, she had died in my arms. I could barely make it thru the week-end to go to the Humane society to get 2 kittens to keep each other company when we were gone for the day, or shopping, etc. One of the kittens was a male cat that looked just like her. We still have him and he is now 18 years old, and is very thin, but eats like a horse. lol. Vet can find no reason for the weight loss. I dread when the day comes that he may have to go for the last time. It is a dreadful decision to have to make, he is Tommy. I still have Charlee who nearly died 4 years ago. He must be medicated twice daily, but he is still with me and he is now 12 years old. Cats, we do love them.

An extremely heartwarming story. Tears slipped out of the corner of my eyes. It's so hard to lose one of your babies. I recently (few months now) had to put a unique one of my babies down and I miss him so much.

**This story is really touching.

Thank You for posting!

Animals know a lot more than we give them credit for. They seem to be in touch with God.
