Where I live – everybody is saving like this, even more. Especially ones (like myself) who have more than one cat/dog in house and/or feeding homeless ones. BUT the VERY LAST on my list “To save on” are animals, no matter what.

Ask your vet, or keep an eye on your local ads and flyers posted at markets and such for rabies clinics. There's usually a couple vets in most areas that hold low cost clinics. We charge $10 for k9 or Fel rabies/$15 if you want to add their distemper combo.
For basic needs, some online sites offer the best prices, often free shipping, and 1-2 day delivery, I've been using and for bird supplies, catnip, shampoo and such. Saving $$$$$ and thrilled with the service.

Good information. Another tip: For those of you who think "Fancy Fiest". "Iams" is better food for your cat, you need to read labels. Compare these labels to "Friskies". This is a quality product that is actually free of most chemicals from the "premiere" brands. I left Science Diet canned food years ago.

Splendid information as there are many people in this situation.

The truth is that I try to give to my cat the best, simply because I think that the animal doesn't live as long as a human being, why should not I try to give him/her the best?? I give to my Mia too much love and the best care that I can!
