I would not be able to get through everyday life with all the crap that is going on in the world if I did not have my animals with me.

My middle one lets me know there is a bug or spider the size of a Buick in the laundry room....and I better come now.

Forgot the vibrating foot warmer...and the warm back massager...then there's the unforgettable alarm clock, even on your days off. Thanks for the wonderful article, favorite is toss-up between furry pillows and dust mop. Many times mine would come up to me with dust bunnies on their whiskers.

Who is the authority that "authorizes" uses for cats, is what I want to know.

Don't forget they are perfect alarm clocks, conversation starters and speed bumps to stop you racing around the house too fast.

AND...don't forget that you just MIGHT float off your bed unless your cat sacrifices its own good rest to lie on your chest and SAVE YOU!

I love this article. You forgot 'paper weight'. No matter what falls on the floor, or I put on my tables, I am guaranteed they will not float away as I have a paper weight on it before I can move it.

My two most favorite uses for cats -- and they are quite authorized -- are spare shadows and suppliers of endless love!
