I know my cats love me, but sometimes it seems they want a voodoo doll that looks like me.

Article made me giggle and laugh cause its all so familiar to me, including a part:
". And then they'll start pouting. I'm serious! Have you ever seen a cat pout? "
Yes my cats also do that :)))
Thank you Cher

When I catch my youngest on the kitchen counter, he gives me a look that says "How did I get up here?".

My brats need no other reason than that I live, walk, and breathe. Arrogant little beasties!

I can totally relate to this article. Imagine having 9 cats performing these ultra voodoo stink eye tantrums! And then of course while I was there, I had to look at the 7 positions that cats sleep in that boggle the mind. ROFLMAO! Thanks Cher for the giggles.

Cats do that sort of thing given their ability to look at anything or anyone with utmost disdain because of their conviction of total superiority. That and the major difference between cats and their traditional foe dogs: "dogs have owners, cats have staff." Also I have noticed that cats in defiance of known laws of relativity and quantum physics, cats have a unique ability to be in two places at once. They were in the room you just left but are next to the food bowl in the kitchen before you arrive there. Still I think fish is nice, but then I think that rain is wet, so who am I to judge?

You have described both Hook and Murphy so conspiratorially perfect. I'm still never giving up my boys.

Fabulous, I have seen a few eyes giving me more than The Look over the years. The purrresent cat that owns me doesn't bother with dirty looks, she uses her very loud, shrill meows to keep me in check. As soon as I prepare my meals she is sitting on the garbage can or by my computer and will wail at me non-stop...for however long that I am in the kitchen...since I prepare my meals from scratch it can be quite ear shattering.

Nothing strange or odd here...all the cats I've ever owned behave the same way. I think it's just normal cat behaviour. If you want to see some VERY WEIRD cats then watch the t.v show "My Cat from Hell".

Geez, this article sounds like you are writing about my cats. I have a long haired grey cat like is in the article and she has the best stink eye and uses it when I'm petting her and discover a mat just starting. I start working the mat out with my fingers and will get the stink eye.

Yes, cats totally pout. It's a look that cannot be misinterpreted.

A real funny article. Well, sometimes my Mia seems 'possessed' :) She runs like a mad around the house, salt on the cupboard in the living room doing the hump and rubbed his eyes. I believe that she does as a little children, she wants to get my attention :)))))
