Tell your Senators/Representative to re-open national parks and to fund them adequately. Please add your personal park story to the below letter; Congress needs to know the personal impacts of park closures.

Great idea and will not happen. Honestly I would rather see the children with cancer not be tossed out of the NIH programs as of TODAY.

Your voice has been heard. Our national parks inspire millions of visitors each year and support thousands of jobs around the country. Please spread the word to help us tell Washington to reopen our parks and keep them well funded!

They will re-open in due time. Until then, sit tight. The government wants you scared.

Noted, signed with large comment, and tweeted. I on't know that my new representative, if he even reads it, will appreciate it. But it's worth the effort.

Thank you, Cher. Noted, signed and commented: "The trips to national parks and monuments that my family and I have made over the years mean a lot to us: Crater Lake, Muir Woods, the Grand Canyon, the Statue of Liberty, Independence Hall, the Lincoln Memorial. It is reprehensible that the Republican Party has chosen to make these and many other important sites off limits to the public in their attempt to destroy the President's Affordable Care Act."

By the end of this week I feel that people will start to rally together and put pressure on to stop this shutdown.

Two good friends work at Yellowstone - one in park planning, and the other the head ranger at Half Dome. They could both be out of jobs, and forced to move to different states or commute ridiculous hours to keep employed. Republican pettiness is friggin ridiculous!
