You had a good long stretch, compared to your brothers and sisters in the wild.

He lived a long life in relative comfort and kept safe. It's a sad loss.

Khan was a treasured one, a natural gift to the world. Sad to read that there are so few in the wild, a frightening thought for the future.

So now Khan is in animal heaven where the trees are never cut, the water holes are never dry and his friends are never threatened.

May he have a safer incarnation next time.
