What a really interesting article. Ginger cats will always be my favorite. I don't own an all black, but, that will be my next cat. They are the angels of my shelter, and are highly adoptable.

All my blacks have been tabbies (most blacks are!). Love my black kitties!!! But I love gingers, too!!! And tabbies...and whtes....and calicos....and................

Think only one of my balcks was a tabby. Doesn't make much difference tho - black is beautiful, so are all the other assorted colors of cats.

Interesting thanks All cats are lovely but black cats are lucky here especially if they cross your path thats why they are sold here as items to carry for luck at a wedding etc
