Turns out climate change isn't just changing the seasons, it's making it harder for professional weather forecasters to predict the weather.

The butterfly effect is quite well known in scientific circles.

when I crossed the Atlantic we had a recording barometer,so you could see if the pressure fell
also had weather fax,and it actually saved us from a tropical depression,we saw it coming ,deviated course for days and missed it.
I'm no butterfly,but a good meteoroligist should have a 75-80% accuracy rate

I studied meteorology for a time when I was younger; to this day I want to smack people who complain about the *stupid* weatherman/woman!! They obviously have no concept of the complexities of predicting the weather or the numbers of, sometimes miniscule, factors involved that cannot humanly be predicted or taken into account.

I beg to differ. My farts have a much more significant effect on the atmosphere than any butterfly!

So it all comes down to the butterfly effect - guess I can grasp that, hmmm very interesting interpretation.
Thank You Cher.
