Tigers, which once roamed across Sumatra, have now become effectively marooned on a few disconnected national parks and are on the verge of disappearing

For all of India's promises, it's nothing but talk and lies.

India is reporting this news from Sumatra which is in Indonesia. (Although India is not much better in protecting it's own tigers, sadly) Indonesia is responsiblle for extensive deforestion of it's precious rain forests for palm oil which is the reason why most of it's wild life is now facing extinction. Pity it's population in not under threat too. (With the exception of Josie from the Whiskers Sydicate and who does so much for the stray kitties).

India is challenged in this article for the supply of palm oil. But. in reality they are all over the world who buys oil Plame. Advice, do like me: read the product composition and reject those that contain palm oil (vegetable oil generator oil Plame). If I have a doubt, I do not buy! I try to buy "responsible" products, so lasting for almost everything ... The only downside is that the duration is longer races. Everywhere, we should require a clear viewing of the products. We are altering the planet, and our fellow travelers hereupon, in ways that will have permanent, unalterable effects, on ourselves as well as the rest, and are so blind and dumb in our greed, that we can't see it!

This is an article that is really hard to read because it's so real. We will continue our fight to save these precious animals and their habitats. Deforestation and poaching really has to stop now! Thanks Cher for caring so much and to all fighting for them.

Noted with thanks Cher.
Greed!!!! The main cause of the dramatic whittling down in the numbers of these animals is not poaching as much as the ravaging of their habitat — Indonesia’s forests — by mining, pulp paper interests, and most specially, by the palm oil industry. Tigers, Elephants, Rhinos and Orangutans are all teetering on the brink of extinction. "If we kill off the wild, then we are killing a part of our souls" Jane Goodall.
