I looked at the zoo website. It looks as if it's a wonderful place.

Mek and Paka were among six tigers in the wild that were brought to the United States as part of a project to save tigers that were endangering humans or losing their territory to development, Myers said.

"They probably would not have survived if the United States didn't have this breeding program," she said.

I hope they protect the cub and the mother takes good care because in captivity (dont know if the mom was raised in captivity) sometimes the mom doesnt know what to do. Hoping for the best and to keep tigers in conservation (they also should be breed for release into the wild)

Thank you. It's too bad they have to be born in a zoo to ensure their safety. Good news.

Noted with thanks Cher. Good Luck having your babies, Meka. You were a good mom for other litters, and I am sure you will be for the coming baby tigers.
