The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) has made an emergency grant to ensure that rare Amur tigers are kept fed and away from conflict with humans in the Russian Far East this winter. But the money won't be used to dish out food directly

Exceptional foundation! Be sure to visit davidshepherd.org ~ the photography galleries are fantastic and you can adopt an endangered animal while you're there. Hint, hint! Great Christmas gifts.

The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation has been supporting Amur tiger conservation in the Russian Far East for almost 20 years and was part of the international coalition of NGOs and government agencies that saved the species from certain extinction in the 1990s. The last thing they want to happen is having the Beautiful Amur gaining in numbers. Very Interesting.
Thank You Cher/
