No festive scene would be complete without a cheerful Robin redbreast

I hunt often for pictures of Robins - my favourite of all birds - they epitomise Christmas in England for me, and are the things I'm most homesick for after many years in Australia. And suddenly, here in front of me is the loveliest collection of these pretty, chubby little birds I've ever seen.
Absolutely wonderful ! ! ! ! !

For some reason that I can't understand the government of Canada seems to be taking a very jaded eye on environmental concerns. I thought their economy was in much better shape than ours. If that's true, why are you selling so much of your gorgeous country to people who will pillage it and leave it a wasteland?

Well obviously this went on the wrong page again. I'm having problems with my computer SIGH. Apologize. Pictures of birds are one of my favorites! I always look forward to the first robin landing in the spring here at the farm. Thanks so much!

Lovely pictures. It never ceases to maze me that people need so many layers to keep warm and yet these tiny beings live outside with their little legs and feathers. They look so dainty but they are hardier then we are.

What lovely photos. Here in the North country we have silly robins that stay the whole year. Unfortunately a good percentage of them perish because of lack of food. They would have had a really hard time in the last five days with the ice storm that we've experienced. I put food out all the time for the birds but haven't seen any Robins.

How beautiful little birds. I hope that some people give them a little bit of bread during the cold winter, as I do in the garden in fron of my house!!! Thanks Cher.
