They'll just keep hunting them into extinction, no matter what.

People pay big money for them and they are crowded into a pen and shot. that's not Hunting. They Don't have a chance. Terrible. Thank You Cher

The thought of EXTINCTION is unforgivable considering so little is being done to SAVE them instead of hunting / poaching / shooting them - SHAME on the poachers, HUNTERS and those who allow these majestic Big Cats to be in these situations. Unbelievable!

Devastating news, but certainly not surprising. And who do we have to thank for this - the wonderful human race!!!!

This makes me want to cry & I'm not someone given to easy tears. I remember watching the Born Free programme as a child and thinking what an amazing continent Africa is for wildlife and how much I'd like to visit and see these animals one day. How terribly sad to think that within my lifetime most of these wonderful animals will have been exterminated...

A task force by the United Nations should be set up to aid in the safety of all endangered animals. It would be so sad to have these lions go extinct. Also some of the land had been used up, and local farmers just shoo them if they come to look for food - they need to be educated, as when they are gone, there will be no bushmeat for them.
Than You Cher.
