Is it me, or this week there are more sad photo stories? I lowed 'dancing' polar bear & panda cub & ground squirrels play-fight.
Thank you Cher

Those photos are GREAT, especially the elephant swimming, but the Golden Retriever and Clydsdale are not from a Heinkein beer ad, they are part of the classic Budweiser beer commercials. Also the performing hippos in Russia sent a chill down my back, but not in a good way.

Have to say Wow...didn't like the trained hippos or the clothed penguins. Love the puma caught in the blinds - once had some blinds that liked to catch the unwary. The ultra happy look of Bluey is priceless, and envy the eyesight of the owl after the tiny mouse. Favorite has to be the blue tit's AM bath...

I tired to open that one, and my anti-virus program blocked it. Not sure what that was all about.

As always, one of my favorite photo series each week. Loved the dancing bear and the amazing owl photo. Hated to see hippos in a circus, the penguins being treated like dolls and how ridiculously fat someone let that poor cat get!

Fascinating pictures but I found the hippos and the penguin pictures disturbing.

Fantastic as always, with one exception, was that a circus making hippos do tricks? I don't think animals need human cloths, they are quite exceptional just as they are. These photographers have a great life.

Beautiful photos. I didn't care for the hippos in the circus. It does sadden me that so many of the animals are in zoos, I don't mind the sanctuaries as at least they have space and can move freely. The other picture that I had to back to was the one of the puma in the kitchen - can you imagine coming home to that cat???
So the Orangutan picked the Seattle hat over the Denver, and has been correct 12 times!!!
Just have to love all the animals of nature/!! Thanks Cher.

I hope Meatball finds a responsible, loving and forever home where he will get healthier after losing some weight. Go Hawks, hope the Orangutan was correct in his pick. Chicks are beautiful just as they are and don't need to be dyed ever. Just sayin . . .

Derek Wells is a cutie and the husky to left of the screen, seems to be staring intently at the husky to the right of the screen who seems to be oblivous. Poor Meatball! I also hope he can find a sweet owner who can help him lose weight. How in the world did they dress those 2 poor penguins!! God bless Bluey, I'm so happy for him! Baby chicks are fine being yellow, no dye required! Thnx Cher!!

Some great pics, love the dancing polar bear. But dying little chicks for Chinese New Year, I found that really cruel.
