I never see the rabbits on the property, but after a snow, can absolutely see their bunny hop prints all over. I try to put out nibblings for them during the really cold weather, and we have a low dish in several places that we fill with water for them during the hot season. One way all people can help hares is to leave areas of brush piles and/or high grass. That's where they nest, and manicured lawns and fence rows leave them nowhere safe or warm.
