BP has spent almost four years and hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising to let you and me know that the company would take responsibility for the largest oil disaster in U.S. history. So our ask is really simple: Put your money where your mouth

We need your help to keep the ocean healthy for marine wildlife like turtles, polar bears and whales, and for all people whose lives and livelihoods depend on it.

"Why is it so easy to save the banks - but so hard to save the biosphere?" ―- George Monbiot

“These temple destroyers, devotees of ravaging commercialism, seem to have a perfect contempt for Nature, and, instead of lifting their eyes to the God of the mountains, lift them to the Almighty Dollar.” ― John Muir

"If in a given community unchecked popular rule means unlimited waste and destruction of the natural resources—soil, fertility, waterpower, forests, game, wild-life generally—which by right belong as much to subsequent generations as to the present generation, then it is sure proof that the present generation is not yet really fit for self-control, that it is not yet really fit to exercise the high and responsible privilege of a rule which shall be both by the people and for the people. The term “for the people” must always include the people unborn as well as the people now alive, or the democratic ideal is not realized." — U.S. Pres. Theodore Roosevelt, 1916

"It has become appallingly clear that our technology has surpassed our humanity. I hope that someday, our humanity might yet surpass our technology." ―Albert Einstein

"Once destroyed, nature's beauty cannot be repurchased at any price." ―-Ansel Adams

BP will not pay up unless forced. I think 4 years is past long enough to have to live with the effects of their greed. If I could call the shots BP would NOT BE ALLOWED to DRILL ANTWHERE the USA HAS ABILITY TO STOP THEM UNTILL THEY CLEAN UP THE GULF.

I signed this a long time ago. Nothing new to report.I'm fairly sure that in a year,it will still be status quo. BP are liars and's obvious they've lied. And theft? They stole our clean shores, our wildlife, the businesses that had to close down, their livelihoods, I think you can follow my line of thinking. I just can't follow theirs. I will avoid products by any of these mega companies. It is not unAmerican to think for yourself. Re-use,recycle,reject the greed of others.

BP is a greedy whore! They will never pay up! They won't do anything unless their bottom line is challenged. They will keep filling our water of all kinds with poisonous chemicals till we get them in the MONEY!

These destructive oil companies have caused far more damage than the penalties they have received. The only measure that will get their attention, is a penalty 1000 times greater than what they are received.
