When or if we finally have spring and if my plants bloom. If this spring follows past patterns I have thousands of Monarchs and honey bees that come to snack in my garden. There are no GMO fields for miles around, let's just hope this little island of safety helps.

Monarch Butterfly - Milkweed seeds.

You can get seeds for $3 plus self addressed, stamped envelope :)

Best to plant them in areas free from Monsanto Roundup.

ty, Cher.

If we can save the butterflies and the bees by outlawing glyphosate, we'll also be helping humans. We need to get this out of the environment, and the food chain.

Monsanto = nothing to gain and A LOT to lose. Sad, scary, tragic.

Make sure your neighbors aren't using Roundup Ready on their lawns, as this toxin get's in rain water and the air, thereby getting into your lungs and throughout the rest of your body. What are water-sucking lawns good for anyway? Plant gardens instead!

I would rather kill off Monsanto. I am planting lots and lots of milkweed, butterfly weed and other flowers butterflies and bees love this spring. (about 1.5 acres worth) Might make a monsanto voodoo doll and stick lots of rusty pins in it just for the heck of it. Yeah, I'm evil. ;P I admit it. Hmmm-maybe make lots of them and send them to Monsanto/GE.

I too try to plant for the butterflies and birds. I have a large butterfly bush that is very popular. Monsanto will never have problem unless he powers that be step in instead of skipping downy the lane with them. They are evil and greedy and care nothing for monarchs or anyone who stands in their way. I would have no problem seeing this corporation implode.

If they can get to Eastern Ontario there is plenty of milkweed. The problem lies south of the border I think. Just an awful company, on the dark side probably.; but loyally supported by the US Government.

I live in the country on over 3 acres. I have a lot of flowers and flowering shrubs. When I moved here I had a lot of honeybees, bumblebees and butterflies. As each year goes by I see fewer and fewer of these insects. I believe the chemicals companies are not only killing insects but I believe they are also slowly killing all living things, including humans. I believe they are responsible for many of things affecting our health. I believe our government agencies are too close to the chemical companies to control them.

Unfortunately it's all about money and we can't really defend ourselves, animals & future generations.
Thanks Cher!

Killing the Monarch Butterfly, that little beauty, so courageous, is a Crime. It is simply horrendous. All that for the sake of money. This will have to stop, sooner or later.
