Right now, the U.S. Forest Service is deciding the management plan for the forest for the next decade, and the oil and gas industry is pushing to allow fracking in this beautiful forest.

Oh, the George Washington FOREST. For a second there, I thought they were gonna frack the bridge in New Jersey. I'm thinking, Wow, Fort Lee thought they had traffic problems BEFORE--!

Still wouldn't let me sign. And I really wanted to. WHY are our public lands all up for grabs, anyway?

Oh, yeah. Republicans. *beats head on keyboard*

Ohio can't sign. For some reason I believe all government agencies are corrupt and corporations usually get what they want.

We don't want fracking anywhere, it is not the right thing to do. Wouldn/t allow me to vote as I don't live in those states. I am with you 100% tho.

I want to sign this petition to the U.S. Forest Service and got the error message that I cannot sign because I am not a resident of Virginia. The U.S, Forest Service is answerable to all the people, not just those of the state the forest is in. I have always signed petitions about environmental harm to National Forests administered by U.S.F.S. Something is wrong with the way this petition is set up.
