I've read too many similar stories. A perpetrator actually gets caught, the police arrest him, he's charged with animal cruelty offences, goes to trial...... and then goes home.

Signed. And we wonder why morons like these men continue to abuse animals. It's because the law doesn't take animal cruelty seriously. It's almost as if they can't take it seriously because of the eventuality that it will cross over into the heinous way livestock is treated and cost the agricultural industry, gasp, profits.

ATTENTION EVERYONE: There's another petition as well that goes to John Larkin, QC Attorney General for Northern Ireland. This ridiculous display of injustice has to be corrected. Police and animal rights charities described the abuse as some of the worst they have ever encountered
