Over 650 species are at risk of disappearing forever. If you're concerned about the future of Canada's endangered species, speak up now, before any changes are made to the federal Species at Risk Act.

1. Write a letter to the federal Environment Minister with your thoughts about the importance of having a strong Species at Risk Act to protect Canada’s most vulnerable species and their habitats.

2. Talk to your local MP and let them know that this issue is important to you. Ask them at one of their many community events – barbecues, pancake breakfasts – to oppose any proposed weakening of SARA. You can also send them a copy of your letter – find their contact information here......http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseOfCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC

3. Spread the word. Let your friends and families know that they can help secure a future for our endangered species, and ask them to take action.

The new morality; anyone who can feel pain, deserves protection from harm

We are not here to amass money, to take pleasures at other species expense, to destroy and take and dominate...we are here to protect those who can feel pain, from harm. That's it. That's our mission.
We as mankind will be our own downfall, if we do not stop the destruction we are doing to our planet and it's wildlife

Mankind has the honor of quite possibly being the most destructive force to ever hit Mother Nature. With 150 to 200 species of life ceasing to exist every 24 hours, a mass extinction is looming, and biodiversity is in crisis.

Periods of extinction are nothing new in the planet’s history, but species extinction in the past 10 years is far greater than anything the world has experienced in the past 65 million years. Humankind’s unsustainable production and consumption are without a doubt the major contributing factor. For the first time since the disappearance of the dinosaurs, humans are driving both animal and plant species to extinction faster than new ones can evolve

UNLESS Someone like you cares a whole
awful lot, nothing is going to get better.
It's not.
