Surprisingly, it is very simple to turn Easter "green" and celebrate in an environmentally friendly fashion. This year, tweak your traditions just a bit and enjoy the holiday knowing that you've made it a little better for both your family and the Earth.

Great Ideas-thanks for sharing- I especially like the using natural dye and choosing fair trade and healthier candy. I'll be using these suggestions.

Thanks Cher. I have saved baskets and fillings for years, also fuzzy yellow little chicks to decorate them with.
Also I have a collection of antique/collectable postcards, and the adult children's decorations they made from Kindergarten to Grade 6, that I decorate with. I have some plastic eggs that I may put some little trinket in that I have also saved. I take reusing seriously!
