WILD animals belong in the WILD - we need to protect them there-

why and how would anyone think having a top predator at home would be a good idea???

We must get away from this idea that anyone can have any animal as a pet.

This is so sad. The Cheetah is magnificent in the wild. It doesn't belong in any ones house or yard or kennel, or private zoo or roadside zoo. I'm wondering if they have killed the mother Cheetah to get the cubs which is a double blow to the species. Thanks Cher.

Noted. This is so sad, because all large cats need to learn how to hunt and survive in the wild while young from their mother, and if they don't, even if they are rescued, the very likely are permanently handicapped in their ability to survive. Unfortunately, we haven't found a solution to the problem of impoverished people near wild lands needing income, and until we do, poaching and illegal trading will continue.

Education is the key - even stupid people can be taught that trying to raise wild animals in a household is well, stupid.
