Klamath National Forest is the most diverse conifer forest in the WORLD.
Logging companies have for too long held sway in the Oregon, Washington, California Pacific coastal forests. Over 90 or 95 percent of the old growth is GONE.

"For years KS Wild and local residents have worked with the Klamath National Forest to encourage small-diameter thinning of second-growth fiber plantations and decommissioning of harmful logging roads to restore at-risk forests.
The proposal is for Logging big, fire-resilient trees that provide spotted owl habitat in the McCollins Late-Successional Reserve (LSR). Klamath National Forest is proposing a timber sale in the Reserve that it knows is “likely to adversely affect” threatened species. "

THe most courageous of the forest protectors live, school, and sit in trees in this country. If others elsewhere knew personally of the beauty, diversity, and what a destroyed forest looks like, this continent would have a different attitude toward forests, with mass protection.

I support KS Wild, and hope that you all can.
