So ranchers using Federal land almost for free, in one case we know it was free for 20 years. These are the same people that are dictating policy? Letter written and sent by email and shared. Thanks Cher

somehow "wild horse roundup" just does not sound right.......?...anyway....

signed for sure - thanks Cher ♥

You've done your part. Now spread the word.

Thank you for taking a stand against BLM's outrageous and unnecessary wild horse roundup proposed for southwestern Utah. It would be a huge help if you could spread the word about this situation to any family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. We need a strong army of caring citizens to stand up to the BLM and to ranchers who want to see our wild horses and burros permanently removed from our public lands, and who are willing to break the laws of our nation to accomplish this terrible goal.

You can see even fron the picture of the scrubland how little grazing there must be, the Cattle ranchers want every little bit, no horse must be allowed to live free when they can put cattle on that land, what ever happened to the land of the free? All honour seems to be dying.

S+N Cattle Ranchers are the biggest threat to Wild Horses and Bison, they must be put in their place, keep your damn cattle on your own land, stop taking over public land and forcing the wildlife out. BLM is filled with people just like the Fish and Wildlife they kill everything. I wish we could throw them all out and fill their jobs with animal activists.

Noted and signed. Beef prices are escalating ridiculously, so cattle ranchers' lust for grazing and "finally" making a big buck are making them arrogant and even greedier than usual. Most of Utah is desert -- really lousy land for anything other than the native burros and horses who have learned how to live there. So sick of the BLM giving in to special interests!

Burros and horses are not native animals, they are as invasive as cattle, and all of them are a threat to our native wildlife. All of them need to be managed, it would be nice if science was the only criteria used for management and not the pressure from either ranchers or horse lovers.

Signed and noted. Thank you, Cher!

Donn, horses are different from other imported species in that they evolved in North America before spreading to other continents. They are suited to our ecology and cannot be considered invasive.
