the site wouldn't come up for me. last december i backpacked by bus from santiago to last large port in this area. there are no large towns after this except fishing villages. the weather is equivalent to canadian weather and cold in their winters (our summers). can't imagine what the electricity would be for. the lower elevaions are not that dry for irrigating, and villages don't use that much electricity. ??mining interests??
