These dogs make great pets! I live in a city where racing is an everyday thing. My vet was hired to see a greyhound and when he got there, they wanted him to put the "slow" dog down. He refused. There has to be a place to take these dogs or the racing owner will find someone who will euthanize it for a price.

Gee, it's a good thing no one puts us down when we retire. These are loving animals and deserve a good home.
