Why is this happening? Why do we continue to use fossil fuel when we do not have to?

Why does growth and development continue unabated?

We can work on saving wilderness one battle at a time or we can be realistic and do something about it.

We can end all immigration except for adoption. We can practice family planning. We can get all our energy from renewable sources.

As long as growth and development continue and we use fossil we will continue to destroy wilderness. If not in our country then the tropical rain forest.

What bothers me the most is how are resources to be provided? Water is becoming scarce in California. These new communities will be supplied power by a coal burning power plant. What about the forgotten Gorman Wildflower preserve these developments are closing in on? Tejon area, you have a unique place. Done right you could attract tourism, help the economy and save the environment at the same time. Without sprawling developments. --webmaster, www.caopenspace.org
