WWF is alarmed by the dramatic decline of at least 30 percent in the Bengal tiger population of Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve in Nepal, once a refuge that boasted among the highest densities of the endangered species in the Eastern Himalayas.

Its the Chinese once again at what they do best, decimating the tiger populations in the world so that they can perform better as males. Nepal is the conduit through which all our tigers from India make a quick exit to China. Our Govt. knows all about this, but relations being what they are, India is afraid to sneeze, lest China attack.I feel that poachers should be shot on sight, and questions asked later. Its the only rule. The law of the jungle.

The article says they've captured images of the poachers w/ the same cameras used to track the tigers. So can't officials rig the cameras like they do for canned hunts and poach the poachers? At least it's a way to use that technology for good!
