On Friday, hundreds of people emerging from the mosque started pelting stones, attacked security personnel and went on a rampage when they were prevented from going towards the Charminar to offer 'salam'.

How odd that they came right from the mosque after imbibing Islam's message of peace "salam" and ended up rampaging. How did the come to misunderstand Islam right after hearing its soothing teachings? And why do governing authorities in India, Europe and the U.S. never seriously ponder such questions?

Doesn't salam mean 'peace', like 'The Religion of Peace'?

I don't understand why Pakistan gives India back the Hindus (and Christians, because Christians are horribly abused, too, by the Pakistani Muslims) and India send the Muslims packing to Pakistan.

Will Durant, the noted historian, says the Muslim invasion of India is one of the most brutal in history with over 80 million slaughtered, and the destruction of Buddhism in its birthplace and the destruction of Buddhist and Hindu temples. This Muslim barbarism is nothing new.

Christians, Buddhists and all non-Muslims are being ethnically cleansed in every Muslim occupied land right now and no one utters a peep in protest. Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world, including in every Muslim ruled land. Where is the outrage?

Muslims whine any time their victims fight back and never take any responsibility for their 1400 years of bloody slaughter in spreading their 'religion of peace and tolerance'. What a joke.

The extremist Palestinian hate toward the Israelis is only equaled to the Hindu hate of the Muslims.

But the Islamists are the cause for the hatred and, even more so, the fear of the Hindus.

The Hindus would be very happy not have to have any Muslims in the country to hate.

Noted, tweeted, tweeted, shared. Lots of irony here; leaving church and rioting. Doesn't seem too peaceful. Muslims claim to be peaceful; this wasn't a peaceful action. The only thing that they succeeded with was proving those who dislike Muslims and cite their violence are right. I know that all Muslims are not violent, but when actions such as this occur; it gives them a negative reputation.

Care 2 prides itself on giving accurate news. To me accurate news is showing both sides. It wouldn't hurt Care 2 to show the Jewish side and the Palestinian side. When you only show one side, you are not giving news; you are giving propaganda. I love Care 2, but I wish it would shape up in this area.

Hi Patricia :)

They tried that. Hundreds of thousands of people died in the riots by displaced communities.

Here's the background: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partition_of_India
I don't see them trying that again.

Friday afternoon prayers followed by the increasingly obligatory riot. Sounds more like the religion of pieces rather than of peace.

The Muslims were truly inspired by Friday prayers to Allah, who is Satan. The are acting perfectly like their cry baby bully false prophet Muhammad. This is the Islamic definition of peace put into practice.

Christ taught peace and tolerance, Mohammed taught peace and tolerance, Buddha taught peace and tolerance, the vast majority of great religious teachers have taught peace and tolerance. It is not their fault that their 'followers' so distort and forget the original teachings. If one looked at the atrocities and hate and violence exhibited by Christians around the world, even today, one would think that Christianity was the most blood thirsty and violent and obnoxious religion ever to have existed on earth. It is similar when one looks at the actions of Muslims, Jews, Hindus, etc, they all come across as horrific and one wonders why any decent person could bear to be a Christian or a Muslim or a Jew, etc. However, the fault is not with the Christian religion or Muslim religion etc, the blame for the religious violence and persecution lies entirely with the religious leaders. Unfortunately most people are sheep who cannot see through the deceit, so follow some truly evil religious leaders. I strongly believe that people should be able to follow whichever religion they want. However I equally strongly believe that religious leaders should nearly all be thrown out of office and not allowed to do or 'officially' say anything except perhaps to lead the believers in religious services. Certainly religion has no place whatsoever in politics. Church (or Mosque or Temple, etc) must stay 100% divorced from politics at all times, no exceptions.

The real problem is not the Muslims but organised religion. Christians have been persecuting and massacring Muslims, Jews, Hindus, animists, etc, even other Christian denominations, for centuries and this continues up to the present day. Some of the worst atrocities the world has ever seen has been undertaken by Christians in the name of Christianity. Muslims have also been persecuting Christians, Jews, Hindus, other Muslim denominations etc also for centuries and this also continues up to the present day. Exactly the same with Jews who have also committed numerous atrocities, as have Hindus, even Buddhists, who are generally better, but even they have been known to persecute. All that is nothing to do with the religion itself, it is all to do with evil people using religion and religious believers to gain power, wealth, prestige etc by being seen as the 'saviour' and defender of their religion. The problem is that the mass of people don't know how to think or don't question their leaders, so blindly follow into performing violent and terrible acts which are totally against the teachings of their religion but which they think are necessary to 'defend' their religion. It is a huge con game by religious leaders, of EVERY religious faith, to a lesser or greater extent. There are some decent honest religious leaders but very few, and certainly none of them ever comment on political issues. That is how you can tell the con artists from the true religious leader.

MUMBAI: The four lady police constables who were allegedly molested in the August 11 Azad Maidan violence by few in the mob have identified two of the suspects.

Sources said that the crime branch which last week pulled three lady police inspectors in the special investigating Team (SIT) to record the statements of the victim women policemen who were molested in the crowd. The four lady policemen were shown the pictures of the suspects and they have identified few of them. Now our second priority will be to nab this culprits who has done this dirty job .'' Said an officer.
Till last week the crime branch's priority was to nab the two persons who had vandalized the Amar Jawan Jyoti memorial opposite the BMC headquarters. With the help of the pictures and video clippings the police have so far nabbed 58 persons including the two -Abdu Qadir Ansari and Shabaz Kadir Shaikh who were responsible for vandalizing the memorial.

Meanwhile last week police had discharged three persons arrested in the first lot of 23 persons as they were found to be innocent. Now during the interrogations of around 55 accused police have concluded that the boys who came to Azad Maidan were prepared to create a nuisance and violence at Azad Maidan.

These mischievous youths were mostly from Shivaji Nagar in Govandi and Garib Nagar in Bandra east. None of the actual participants inside the ground were involved in the violence and most of these accused have told that they were provoked by the local community leaders that Indian government as well the media were silent spectators on atrocities done on muslims in Myanmar and Burma.''

With this kind of an act - after prayers starting a riot - it is no wondeer
that the Muslims are thought to be violent.
Noted with thanks.

"Lots of irony here; leaving church and rioting."

Sort of makes one wonder what the subject of the sermon was that day. Anyone asked the Imam for a copy of his exhortations to his flock?

It's interesting that you say that, Gene. In one study, Shari'a and Violence in American Mosques (http://www.meforum.org/2931/american-mosques), somewhere up to 80% of American mosques had Jihad/violent literature.

If the majority of mosques in the U.S. preach or have literature supportive of Jihad and violence against non-Muslims (Kuffar), what does one suppose about other mosques around the world? Judging from the appalling statistics found on the http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/ site, it would seem that the preaching of Jihad and violence against non-Muslims (and Muslims of other sects) is even higher.

With Islam, peace often comes to those who either acquiesce against their will to submission (which is what "Islam" means, not "peace") or to those whose tombstones read, Rest in Peace.

I hate adherents of religions that can so easily start a rampage, even when it's against the teachings of their own deity- Muslims aren't the only ones....

Muslims are following the teaching of the most eveil man there ever was.
Mohamed would put Hitler to shame. So what else can be expected from these cut throats.
They are a black veil of mourning, spreading all over the planet, a deadly cancer that no one knows how to stop.
