Let me know if they come out with something to help CP victims like me. I've been through hell and back numerous times and the concensus is always the same....Cerebral Palsy in adults, is impossible to 'cure.' I think I'm doing pretty darn well to have been blessed with a wonderful attitude, family, friends who love me. I'm very happy they can help this woman re-walk. Thnx for posting, Gillian.

Another wonderful improvement for human lives from tiny Israel! Bravo!

The world would be a lot poorer without Israel and all her people give to humankind from cancer cures to novel improvements in food production etc.

No wonder the Jews have received 183 Nobel Prizes, mostly for science, medicine and mathmatics - more than any other ethnic or religious group (just check out their neighbors who seem to have contributed nothing to the betterment of the world - only rockets, hate and suicide bombers).

This is Jewish and Zionist response to Islamic terror! You give the Jews and Zionists lemons and thy make a lemonade out of it ;-)!. Jews are hated because they do not complain but take reality as it is and create solutions, unlike Muslims who always blame the Jews and America for their self-created problems.

Those "Palestinians" who claim that Israel oppresses them should move their butts and start working rather then trying to murder Jews and Americans and teaching their children how to blow themselves up while murdering others. 73% of Arabs in Gaza and West Bank state that their goal is annihilation of Israel. As usual, they like to loot what others had created instead of learning and creating themselves. It is much much easier to destroy than to build.

During the Arab "spring" the Israelis sent a message to Tahrir square: Don't ruin pyramids because we will NOT rebuild them (as we did Palestine). With Muslim Brotherhood (friends of Obama) in power in Egypt, and their clamoring for sharia and destruction of pyramids (just as Taliban destroyed giant Buddha statues in Afghanistan), this joke may become reality, in addition to the necrophilia law that would alow men to sleep with their dead wives.

Beth S. and some others that just had to throw, as Jeannette said, hate filled rhetoric into a wonderful invention story to help the disabled, was not at all called for.

Why ruin such a nice story of people being helped with such a comment. Not necessary. So I'm very much in agreement with what Jeannette said.

I was going to forward this along to others, but because of the negative comments I'll not do so. But thank you Gillian for placing this story on here. Here lies one of the many fundamental differences between Israel, and some Arab countries. A few Arab countries live to hate, Israeli's live, and try to separate the hate.
In terms of medical discoveries, technological achievements, Israel had outranked the world in the last 50 years;considering the nation is smaller than NJ, and its medical research team is one of the smallest in the world.

Dandelion, I think that the point people are making is that Israel has developed a huge number of medical and scientific benefits which they share with ALL of the world, I have no doubt that you, or a family member, has benefited from it. Their ability to do more is impaired by so much money needing to go on protection and research needing to go on protection. Everyone criticizes Israel for existing but no-one criticizes the terrorists who cause this need nor the surrounding Muslim controlled countries for causing it.

Because of this unnecessary hatred, as shown by so many on care2, Israel is banned from sharing such information in many spheres as well as working with researchers in many countries. Should Israelis be allowed the full freedom that other people have then there is no telling what they may accomplish, for the benefit of many. This does include the very people who attack and abuse them and that is not just the people known as the Palestinians.

Obama is a friend of the Islamists of Muslim Brotherhood (gave them 1.5 billions so far) and extolls Islam and Koran, while dissing Bible. and will lose with a landslide in November, because Americans are waking up to the danger that Barak Hussein Obama represents not only to US soldiers, and US but the entire Western civilization.

I agree with Dandelion! This is just a nice story about a potentially life-changing device that helps people. WHY throw in religious or political ramifications or involvement? Why does this have a single thing to do with one's faith or lack thereof, or church affiliation, or even more to the point, what country this was developed in, or any other political connections? Should 3rd world countries refuse to accept mosquito netting fromthe U.S. that could prevent malaria?

Diane, you obviously did not read my comments. Israelis, Israeli institutions and universities are often forbidden or refused the right to work with other universities and institutions because they are Israeli. Many of the scientists who could improve or speed up a scientific or medical investigation are not allowed to do so or are killed during an invasion by Muslims.

Recently, there was a medical conference in Egypt to help women and Israeli doctors were invited and then refused admission. Some American universities refuse to collaorate with Israeli ones because of Muslim aggression on campus. No other country has these issues and yet they continue to help and share that which saves lives world wide. Just think what could be achieved without the hatred that no other country suffers from.
