Great idea! It's amazing how many people have themselves convinced that meat is the most important ingredient in a diet, and if they can't eat that - then what? They'll starve! They need to be reminded of vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes, beans, grains......

Yuh, like my family. They all had cow tonight and gave me crap about it. My wife says boca burgers smell bad.

Care2 is leading the way vegetarian/flexitarian. It is obvious what happens when we eat too much meat - fossil fuel and food wasted as well as water and land. I find a healthy diet to be vegetarian and occasional meat, several small servings a month.

Here is a good selling point for convincing meat-eaters: eating vegetarian lowers the price of oil, as vegetarian takes forty times less fuel to produce.
