My family all agree with you! We were just saying the same thing! Look at the top of the arena its almost empty too. There were lots of ties there. It wasn't a mix of people like it should be. It looked more business to me! It looks like a McPalinbush and family get together!

The comments in the link have people referring to a "spiritual-looking black man" that kept being shown, and the funny thing is I know exactly who they are talking about and I didn't even see more than an hour of the convention!
They complain about the messianic appeal of Obama, but the over-enthused cheering at every jab at Obama or every praise for McCain's POW background just seemed creepy.

If anyone wants to see what the truth was at this stupid, redneck convention, watch the Daily show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report with Stephen Colbert. There was more truth on those two shows then anywhere. These republicans were pathetic. They had a segment where one of stewart's reporters asked the delegates about what small town values were, and all any of these people could talk about was marriage between a man and a woman. They were all homophobes and I am sure if you would have got them somewhere with their friends they would all have had just a tad bit of racism to them-or more. Anyway, some of the stupid things they were saying were just amazing to me. They were funny but also scary because these people are really like this. They were all white, I saw maybe two black people in the whole thing. It was a truly pathetic group of hateful people. These people belong back in the 1950's. I swear to God if McBush and this scary woman by some chance get in, the world will have not one shred of respect left for this country, period. It is truly gut-wrenching for me to watch this evil woman-the wolf-slaughterer, she has no soul.
