It is heartbreaking news of women, children, etc...but the lengths of our precious animal friends is beyond my capacity to deal. Once again, I AM ASHAMED OF MY SPECIES....

i heard about Asian countries putting a monkey in a hole in the middle of a table, and they allow each customer to smash him in the head with a hammer til hes dead, then they eat his brain.

EVERY day, on care2 mostly, I learn of a new way humans torture animals and IM SICK OF IT!!! Nimue feels the same and I agree, humans are monsters. I need to take a break from this site because i really feel with each and every story I am that much closer to snapping.

That woman was brave, and i would have sent the video to a trusted friend, after throwing up of course, and then opened a huge can of whoop ass. until they killed me, but at least it was out there.. and they probably would have eaten me.

WHY cant people use their money for good? They can use it and their influence to save these animals..Im guessing its a high to know you just ate an individual animal that brings that species one step closer to no longer existing...WHEN I am rich, I will be able to do more, but as of now, N&Signed. and will post to facebook so others will know too,

Breeding animals for slaughter, killing endangered animals and the list of animals torture is endless. As long as there is a demand there will be a supply. Its that simple. We can sign the petition and try to stop this restaurant but at the end of the day its up to us. We have to make the choice to stop eating meat and only then the profit will stop and inevitably so will the killing. Perhaps the people who are involved in the killing process will evolve to another level of consciousness enabling them to feel and see what the rest of us do about killing and torture. When we manage to extend that energy of peace and compassion, it will perpetuate more of the same and pretty soon the world will be a peaceful place. How can we go to war when we cannot bring ourselves to kill anything. Think about it, it makes perfect sense. Its the road to compassion. Recently I read about Australian animals being exported life to countries like Indonesia and Pakistan. The innocent gentle sheep to Pakistan where they met a horrific fate and the gentle cows to Indonesia where they also walked into a nightmare. I salute my Australian heroin, Lyn White and I support her efforts in everything this angel does for it is people like her that have the ability to awaken the kinder sentiments in humans. These are the sentiments that are our truth. Animals never stray from their truth, as opposed to humans who have been caught in a web of deception, indoctrination, fear and so much more. The system has had a massive affect on the human condition. I have been told by many spiritual master that life is supposed to be fun but we are caught up in so many trials an tribulations that have been purposely implemented Everything comes wrapped in anxiety disguised as progress as opposed to a state of well being. I will say again, the choice is ours.

The last thing I forgot to mention was that numerous studies from different sources are all concluding that a plant based diet is extremely healthy as opposed to a meat dand dairy diet which causes many health problems. I am no expert and I do no eat meat for morale reasons but if these studies are correct, then it most definitely is food for thought.
