I read in the paper that they were going to start using this blood in major trauma centers across the United States, without permission; in fact, you would have to specifically say you did not want it. I think the very basic reason is called greed. A company wants to come up with something new so they can make a profit with no conscience whether it is a good or bad to society as a whole. Then FDA (shom I believe is a joke in itself) gets kickbacks, alligence to past supporters or something other connection that comes back to politics, so they approve something that on the "AVERAGE" might not harm X number of individuals and it gets into the marketplace. I believe this is a society that is always "buyer beware" meaning the consumer has the sole responsibility to check EVERYTHING out to determine if it is something that they consider to be safe. The problem is a majority of people have no clue and reply on FDA or someone else to tell them if the product is indeed safe. My answer - check myself for the answers to my questions, go natural and stay away from synthetics, chemicals, and etc., etc. Someday we will be known in future generations as being the chemical society and they will be amazed any survived it. Just my thoughts tonight.
