4 pre-teens in the UK, questions by police after duck, chicks, geese found dead. Crowbar, claw hammer covered in blood found at scene. Absolute carnage.

This is most disturbing, the sheer senseless inhumane violence and carnage-mindblowing and heartbreaking. I hope they catch those who are responsible for these, because they are a walking -extremely dangerous timebomb to everyone and everything around them. These teens have some truely serious psychological issues ,they need to be incarcerated and be in an intensive therapy program-not sure with the extent of rage and lack of compassion that I would ever let them out into society again ...

THIS IS TOTALLY DISGUSTING. FIRST, THESE CHILDREN KILL ANIMALS AND THEN THEY WILL KILL HUMANS, JUST LIKE JEFFREY DAHMER. THESE SO-CALLED HUMAN CHILDREN SHOULD BE SEVERELY PENALIZED FOR WHAT THEY DID! AGE SHOULD NOT BE A FACTOR. THEY ARE KILLERS!!! THEY HAVE NO HEART OR CONSCIENCE!

Very disturbing...I have a 16 year old son and I'm a single parent, my son would never do anything like this, he loves animals. They need to be severely punished and kept away from animals and society!

Congrats on your first story Lorraine!!

It is terrible what happened to these animals. This had to be the work of more than one person.

I am beyond sickened. I cannot imagine doing this to animals even in my worst nightmare. I hope to God those responsible are caught and severly punished for this. I cannot imagine what those poor animals went through.

There is nothing inevitable about this sort of behaviour. This does seem to be part of a growing trend in the UK.We have a lot of work to do."A nation of animal lovers"..I don't think thats the whole truth.Certainly gang violence has been on the rise, and a lot of inadequate,(mostly)young males, seem to be involved,in the majority of cases. All of that bull, that you have to act tough,to be a man,is rubbish,a decent man doesn't hurt the innocent.
There are multiple solutions to this ranging from re-development of community, nurturing finer feelings for animals..and giving the little sh*ts a dose of harsh medicine.

Another symptom of a sick society. Next time they'll take a crowbar to a baby; there's no difference. Psychiatric care and drugs might help, and believe it, if it were my child it would happen. Sadly noted, Veronique

I feel so bad for this poor Neil, after caring and looking after these animals they are murdered by these pathic excuse for human beings. I don't care how old they are. They are old enough to know the difference between right and wrong and repect for life. What makes me sick is these monsters will get away with a slap on the hand with a wet bus ticket. makes me sick!
