The federal relicensing system used to ensure that America's 1970s-era nuclear plants are safe for future decades is coming under fire following an audit that found key safety evaluations lacked critical documentation.

What is the timespan on Nuclear stuff? As I remember it is very short . One argument against nuclear is that the outlay is barely recovered and then of course you have the danger factors and nuclear waste storage problems =

One day the truth will actually get out about the way these plants are run, what they are run for and why.

If you want a good read get "The World Without Us" by Alan Weisman

The section on the world's nuclear power plants -- and the details on Chernobyl -- is SCARY reading. Great book though : )
