Protesters Disrupt Londons Olympic Torch Relay

Police said 25 people had been arrested four hours into the relay, several of them near Prime Minister Gordon Brown's Downing Street office where about 1,000 protesters gathered.

mr. kim and I were glued to the BBC yesterday watching and noting those individuals who think these Olympics are not political. How they can stick to that thought after China agreed to the OC back on 01 that China would work to resolve their human rights issues in return for having the opportunity to host the 08 summer games. To me, this shows that China has lied about their desire to show the world they are willing to work toward better conditions for ALL of their country's inhabitants.
Today's "propaganda parade" in Paris will be interesting to watch.
In an interesting side note, the Nazi govt. of 1936 used the torch in much the same manner, to spread the propaganda of the Third Reich to the world.
Who's fooled in 2008? Not me.
Boycotting all things China.
