Does it really matter!! And if women are paid less it is not they are worth less!! They take up responsibilities and attention in tasks that may not pay at all, in terms of money!! They are home builders (not men, for sure!). And a man doesn't give birth to a healthy baby, but a woman does!! Must she be paid for that??

And why is life so often measured in terms of money?? Compassion and Kindness is NOT measured in terms of money, and rarely rewarded!! And money goes only as far as it can purchase and no further!!

Yes, it matters. I worked 16 hour days, 7 days a week for 16 months to bring up a new, vastly complicated system and still got paid less than the man working with me on our part of the project, even though he left punctually at 5PM. Of course, he got fired for being an idiot. Maybe he is related to the guy who wrote this article.

If two people go shopping they will pay the same price for gas, groceries,
clothing, etc. So.....if two people do the same work why shouldn't they
be paid the same amount? It should not matter if you are a man or a woman
when it comes to being paid for the work you do. Now consider the impact
this would have on a woman who is trying to raise her children by herself.
There are many women who have lost husbands to death or divorce and many
single Mom's out there who want to be able to raise their children with out
having to go for help from others. It does matter, not just for the women,
but for their families. Think about it.

If two people go shopping they will pay the same price for gas, groceries, clothing, etc. This is the key!!!! This is the truth!!!

I also think that a few employers hold onto unethical, discriminating policies on the erroneous assumption that men work better than women. Truely speaking, education, abilities and experience are qualities of the intellect, and hardly ever related to the gender of the person!!
