I'm hoping Obama and Holder leave office with a lot of court cases pending. It's the least he would be able to do, eh? :)

Thank you but what about the nazi's in control today, carrying the Rove/Norquist water and continuing our destruction?

85% of all the people polled to want to tax the rich again. They are not listening. That is unconstitutional.

Noted. Thanks, Jason. As I read articles about wealthy 1%-ers getting off the hook for raping children and drunk driving murders, I do wonder if we will ever have justice regarding those in the highest office in the U.S. But, I will continue to sign petitions and send letters and hope that if that guillotine ever will be very dull & rusty.

International law clearly defines torture during an armed conflict as a war crime. It also mandates that any person involved in ordering, allowing and even insufficiently preventing and prosecuting war crimes is criminally liable under the command responsibility doctrine. Though America's idea of what is torture ... does not appear to coincide with that of most civilized nations particularly during the Bush presidency. Given the U.S. Supreme Court has held since at least the 1890s that punishments that involved torture are forbidden under the Eighth Amendment, demonstrates that Bush and Cheney simply did not even care. Even the military issued updated field manuals on intelligence collection and counterinsurgency reiterate that "no person in the custody or under the control of DOD, regardless of nationality or physical location, shall be subject to torture or cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment, in accordance with and as defined in U.S. law" showed their contempt for basic human rights. Seeing Dick Cheney's weak excuses I do wonder if he is just begging the US to throw him on a jet to The Hague.
