That doesn't include hundreds more that were removed by state and federal wildlife agents in response to reported livestock losses and to boost elk and deer herds. Nor does it count dozens more that were illegally poached.

These murdering psychopaths will all pay one day for sure. Something is seriously amiss in the USA that this slaughter is taking place - there are no words to describe it or explain it. How are the cattlemen and the hunters in charge of America? There are dangerous precedents being set.

Our government gave into the idiot hunters and ranchers and now wolf populations are almost extinct. Sick policies by sick politicians. The wolves were on the protection list and sadly I do not think the government will protect them again. This really ticks me off that wolves are being murdered.

That's tragic. Wolves are demonized when instead they have their important place in ecosystems.

The wolves never stood a chance once Salazar got into office. IF I am correct, he himself is a rancher and of course puts his and other ranchers interests first. I am so disappointed in the Obama administration for many reasons but MOST of all for his refusal to dnything to protect animals and keep certain species on the endnagered list.
All I can say is somewhere down the line karma WILL kick in!

Oh mankind... enough of this insanity!!! Killing wolves, coyotes, bison, horses, etc, so cattle can have the land. The cattle industry rules the state. Where is the common sense in this? It's ignorance thinking that nature needs man's intervention for sustainability. There must be a space for the wolves... there is a space for everyone.

I'm so sorry Roxy

Disgusting... BOYCOTT BEEF AND LAMB!! Show the livestock industry that you will hit them in the pocketbook for the wolf massacre!

Our fairy tales will never be the same. I wuv! wolves.

Little Red Riding Hood......"Your teeth are so big, Grandma".

And he didn't do nobody no harm. That was just a mighty friendly wolf.

Grandma had lost her dentures and Wolfie had come to do the chewing for her.

But he got scarit when the ax men started yelling "Kill! Kill! Kill!"

I don't know about you, but that would have scarit me too.

I love the way the wolf howls at the moon.

Now, I'll have to do the howling.

This is heartbreaking, everyday I read sickening news of wolves being relentlessly slaughtered, I cannot comprehend or understand the insanity. I am proud of all of you on Care2 who are helping with this enormous fight. I am doing what I can from here in Oz but wish I could be there on the ground with you, so close to my heart.

when human beings learn to love other members of the animal kingdom like sisters or brothers then there will be peace. Or when humankind is wiped out then maybe whatever other animals are left will be FREE.

Mankind the worst THING to be created.
