Protection usually remains until a species recovers across most of its old range. Citing a review by its scientists, the FWS argues that the grey wolf never occupied much of the eastern US, so no protection is needed there

Boycott beef and lamb! Protest the slaughter of wolves to appease the livestock industry!

Anything with 4 legs during hunting season it seems is fair game, these wolves have to be protected too, especially from Wisconsin at the minute!!
